Writer

My love for writing began in elementary school with annual citywide Young Author’s Writing Competition.
I looked forward to building a narrative, writing a series of poems, and illustrating its pictures each year.

As a professional writer, I enjoy themes about cultural commentary, art education advocacy, Black Feminism, African Diaspora, contemporary art, and making connections to historical art worlds.
