Freshman Year

Waking with crust covered corners from five hour dreams in cinderblock compartments. Beige painted miseries consume space in this place split between separate but equal standards to make what I take from it since there’s more than grade point accumulation. She…is a jeans and t-shirt kinda girl of opposite origin who didn’t put her life in boxes when we packed two cars the day after move in.
